Andrew J. Thav, J.D.
is one of the two Principals of the organization. Mr. Thav was raised on bankruptcy law, and the son of a partner in a very successful law firm in this market. Even as he entered this field, he was already seasoned in bankruptcy law thorough association with a prominent law firm in the bankruptcy field. He held a Clerkship with the Federal Bankruptcy Court, providing a unique perspective into the processes and hurdles facing these clients. His degrees include a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from University of Detroit Mercy Law School. He is particularly skilled in Lexis, Westlaw & numerous Computerized Business Tools. Beyond the technical expertise he contributes, his most important contribution may be his proven leadership and "people skills:' crucial for the effective delivery of bankruptcy services in a caring, professional and informative manner. |
Jamie Ryan Ryke, J.D.
is the other Principal of the organization. Since his admittance to the the Bar. Mr Ryke has been Partner in Thav & Ryke with an emphasis in Criminal Law. His degrees include a Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing from Michigan State University. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and Trial Court, and a recipient of several Awards and Honors for Academic Achievements and Leadership. Mr. Ryke is particularly talented in business management and operations, key ingredients essential to the development and success of Thav & Ryke. |
 Jeffrey David Thav, JD.
is an associate in the law firm of Thav & Ryke. He has been practicing bankruptcy law for 5 years. His practice includes bankruptcy and real estate transactions. He attended the University of Detroit School of Law and the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2001. He is also a member of the Federal Bar Association and admitted before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He practices before all Judges in the Eastern District Southern Division of Michigan. |
 Amy Kathleen Gardner, J.D.
is an associate in the law firm of Thav & Ryke. She has been practicing bankruptcy law for 1.5 years. She also has over a year experience working as a law clerk at Thav & Ryke. She attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and Albion College for her undergraduate studies. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar Association in 2005. |
